Transcoding (ALAC Playback etc)

Issues & Requests

Just tried the app (mac & browser) and note that none of my lossless or hi-res ALAC files can be played … I get a playback error.

I have tested with a few mp3 files and they play OK.

Unfortunately, ~95% of my library is ALAC so the app doesn’t currently work for me.

Any plans to support ALAC playback?

Thanks, yeah I’m aware of an issue with some file types like playback. Unfortunately don’t have an immediate fix, but hope to resolve this soon by forcing transcoding.
